Welcome
Thank You For Discovering Dawson!
Words from the Pastor
Dear Friend,
It is not by chance you are visiting our site today and I pray the Spirit of God will direct your path and lead you in finding a church home that will encourage you spiritually and emotionally.
If you visit with us, you will find our church is based on the Word of God (Bible). As a church family, we desire to live out our faith based on scripture. We find joy in serving others as we grow in our relationship to our Saviour and strive for the following:
Hebrews 10:24-25
24: Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.
25: And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
II Timothy 2:15
15: Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.
John 13:34-35
34: So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.
35: Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
Matthew 28:19-20
19: Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
20: Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
Friend, if we live out these simple scriptures, several things will happen:
1. God will be honored
2. Christ will be exalted
3. Christians will be encouraged
4. The church will grow
5. Lost people will come to know Christ
Thank you for your time, come hold us accountable. We sincerely hope you will visit us soon!
Pastor,
Ricky

Homecoming 2026 - October 13, 2026
It is time once again to throw open our doors and welcome back our cherished family and friends for Dawson Baptist Church's Homecoming Service.
On October 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., we will pause to look back with gratitude at God’s faithfulness and look forward with hope to the future. More than anything, we want this to be a day of reunion. If you have worshiped with us in the past, moved away, or simply want to share in a wonderful day of praise, consider this your personal invitation to "come home".
We are welcoming home, Pastor, Hilton Jeffreys, as guest speaker and the church will provide a delicious meal for all after the service in the Fellowship Hall.
Please mark your calendar, reach out to someone you haven't seen in a while, and join us for a truly unforgettable Sunday. We cannot wait to welcome you back.
